PACKING LIST
Pack as if you’re going on a Western Love Safari and be ready for anything. Equal parts rowdy and sacred, with wild adventures by day and chic gatherings by night.
Don't forget your radical self expression costume for the Welcome Meet & Greet to help break the ice and connect with your new friends & family.
Bring your own water bottle because you're going to need to stay hydrated with all the fun activities. Sunscreen for that high altitude sunshine. Bug spray because you never know.
Bathing suit for those delicious mountain lake plunges, Salmon River chilly dips, and hot spring soaks. Hiking clothes, beach towel, water shoes, and bike gear if you want to slash some dust. Sunglasses, hats, wigs, wings, tutus…just make sure you take only photographs and leave only footprints.
NOTES ON SAWTOOTH VALLEY
The Sawtooth Valley is remote with limited cell service and amenities. We suggest hitting up a grocery store in Boise or Ketchum before arriving, if you need anything special. There is WiFi at Smiley Creek Lodge and IRMR along with cell service in Stanley, but there is not cell service in & around or between Smiley Creek Lodge and IRMR. It's an epic opportunity to turn off your phone and reconnect with the wonderful natural world around you. We highly discourage driving back and forth over the pass to Sun Valley at night. There is heavy nocturnal wildlife traffic on the road and we would prefer that everyone stays in and around the Smiley Creek/IRMR area.
